GENERAL INFORMATION
CAR HIRE
Generally, our policy includes unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, airport delivery and surcharges. Petrol is not included and insurance may not cover damage to tyres, wheels, locks, windscreens or lost keys. The collision damage waiver section normally carries an excess amount that the hirer would have to pay in the event of a claim, this excess can be waived on payment of an additional waiver premium which is optional and payable on collection. If you arrive out of hours (normally between midnight and 0600) an out of hours delivery charge may be incurred. Please note that it is a legal requirement that you keep your passport, driving licence and car hire contract with you whilst driving the car.
FLIGHT DELAYS
In the event of a significant delay, scheduled airlines generally offer refreshments to passengers. The policy with charter airlines varies by carrier, whilst no-frills airlines generally have no provision for passenger refreshments.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We can provide special arrangements for any manner of requests such as group transfers, safari bush camps, BBQ's and gala dinners. We are here to help and to make your trip as personal and memorable as possible.
RESORT REPRESENTATION
Our overseas representatives will continue the high level of service provided by Golf Groups Direct in the UK. They have been selected for both their knowledge of the area, golf and personable manner. You will be welcomed at the airport, shown to your pre-booked car or transfer vehicles and given directions to your accommodation and the golf courses. In addition they are there to assist you should any problem arise and to ensure everything runs smoothly.
HOTEL BEDROOMS
Unless otherwise stated, all our rooms feature twin beds with en-suite bathroom, satellite/cable TV and air-conditioning. Additional facilities are highlighted within the hotel facilities descriptions.
CLASSIFICATION OF HOTELS
Hotel classifications quoted are usually those officially approved in each country.
HOTEL ARRIVAL and CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in times are normally between 1400 - 1500 and rooms normally have to be vacated on the day of departure between 1000 - 1200.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Your tickets, itinerary, vouchers and luggage labels will be sent to you approximately three weeks prior to departure and after receipt of full payment.
Please note that your itinerary is to be produced at hotel check-in as proof of purchase. Golf vouchers will be issued by our local representative or, where golf has been booked via the hotel, vouchers will be given to you when you check-in.
INSURANCE
To travel abroad without adequate insurance is just not sensible, that is why we have made it compulsory and insist that all our passengers have travel insurance at least comparable to our own special policy. This has been arranged by Holiday Extras, underwritten by Fortis Insurance Ltd and offers excellent cover to include golf equipment and 24 hour Emergency Medical and Repatriation Service
